Ekhlass International School (EIS) established in 1995 to cater to the academic needs of the increasing numbers of expatriate children in rural Kijal, Terengganu. From a modest school housing less than 10 children in its pioneering days, E.I.S now has over 100 children of diverse ages and background, with over 22 academic staff.

The school is owned and run by an experienced educator, Puan Fariza Binti Dato’ Dr Hj. Kassim, who has years of experiences as a childhood educator.

Located within walking distance from the breathtakingly beautiful natural Awana beaches, E.I.S promises to provide a high international standard of education within Malaysian shores.

EIS offers a great and healthy school environment, it aims to develop children and teenagers to be able to think critically and rationally. Besides that, EIS are to produce bright students who are highly curious, creative and intelligent. Based on the Cambridge International Curriculum, EIS offers both Primary (IPC) and Secondary education (IGCSE) from students between the ages of 3 and up with a programme for pre-school and kindergarten as well.
